Architecture – paysage which can be observed asKuwagata Keisai (1764 1824), a Japanese painter of the ukiyo e school, created countless prints, as well as illustrations for over two hundred books of various genres. He was above all the inventor at the end of the 18th century of a minimalist style of astonishing modernity and full of humor, which earned him the imitation of many of his contemporaries. Hokusai, his great rival, was inspired by it when he undertook the creation of his famous Manga.
